Mad Science of St. Louis |
From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this week long, hands-on program will give children a bird's eye view of the history and science of flight. Your child will build many different flying devices and explore the science of aerodynamics and flight with the help of Newton's laws. We don't stop there, though, because we're heading out of the atmosphere with a look at rockets and our Galactic neighborhood!

Roll up your sleeves, put on your makers cap, & get ready to create! This is our most hands-on camp! Together, campers will build a geodesic dome large enough to sit in. Who can build the strongest bridge? Kids will dissect owl pellets & reconstruct its dinner. Enter the Mad Science chemistry lab & mix, mash, & brew concoctions! Assemble & control pulleys, levers, catapults, simple machines, & megapinchers! Campers will discover the wonders of photography & make their own chromatography-dyed Ts. |
