The Spring Break Sports Camp is a fun and exciting new camp at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex! It allows area youth to stay active during the week of Spring Break. The camp runs for two separate weeks, March 12 through March 16 (Rockwood) and March 26 through March 30 (Parkway) and offers a different sport each day. Choose one day or choose the whole week! Our knowledgeable staff will teach your child the fundamentals of their sport and apply those skills to a game situation. All campers will be separated by age group during instruction to ensure the proper age appropriate techniques are being taught to be sure your child has a positive experience with each sport. When not participating in the sport of the day, other outdoor activities, or trips campers will have a variety of games, arts and crafts, movies, and video games at their disposal indoors along with snacks and drinks.
MONDAY | SOCCER
Staff will lead a mini-camp for all participants. Children will sharpen their soccer skills and campers will be split into age and skill level appropriate teams to participate in games. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports throughout the day.
TUESDAY | FOOTBALL
Campers will learn the basics of flag football through skill-based drills and games. Following drills, staff will lead campers in flag football games. In the morning campers will take a trip to Upper Limits Rock Climbing to play on over 3,500 sq. ft. of unique climbing surfaces.
WEDNESDAY | BASEBALL
Campers will learn the basics of baseball, and get to participate in baseball related drills and games.
THURSDAY | BASKETBALL
Staff will teach campers the basics of basketball, and the children will be able to practice drills and play games. Campers during the week of March 12-16 will visit Chesterfield Sportsfusion in the morning. Campers during the week of March 26-30 will visit Sky Zone Trampoline Park in the morning.
FRIDAY | MULTI-SPORT
Campers will participate in multiple sports of their choosing, led by the staff.
