Earth Day: Party for the Planet

Pick up a map of events at either Zoo entrance and explore the Earth Day stations around the Zoo to learn how you can take action to help protect our planet. Visit at least four of the stations to receive a prize! Claim your prize at any of the stations by 3 p.m.
Hear live entertainment by Bottoms Up Blues Gang in Schnuck Family Plaza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Keeper Chats & Enrichment Activities
11 a.m. — Elephant, River’s Edge
11:30 a.m. — California sea lion, Sea Lion Sound
12 p.m. — Western lowland gorilla, Jungle of the Apes
1 p.m. — Grizzly bear, Grizzly Bear Ridge
1:30 p.m. — Giant tortoise, Herpetarium
2 p.m. — Giraffe, Red Rocks
2:30 p.m. — Black-handed spider monkey, Primate House
3 p.m. — American white pelican, South Lake
Enrichment schedule is subject to change without notice.
Admission to the Zoo and Earth Day activities is free. The Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
St. Louis Earth Day Festival
Since 1989, the St. Louis Earth Day Festival has celebrated the magnificence of our planet and demonstrated ways to protect our natural resources.
