Purina Farms, which features the Purina Event Center and the Visitor's Center along with several Outdoor Canine Competition Areas, is an all-inclusive destination for animal lovers and enthusiasts of all ages. Although we are a seasonal business, our visitor center and animal exhibits are only open from Mid-April to October 31.Our event center is still open during those winter months, hosting various dog/cat shows, agility training and events

Consider Purina Farms your personal pet place! Located on more than 300 acres of rolling hills right outside of St. Louis, Purina Farms celebrates the many ways that animals enrich our lives by providing guests of all ages the opportunity to have first-hand encounters with farm animals, spend quality time with their own dogs as well as meet adoptable dogs and cats. Along with meaningful animal interactions, our Visitor Center also features educational exhibits, unique pet-centric entertainment and fun activities including wagon rides and a hayloft play area.

Just up the hill from the Visitor Center is the indoor Purina Event Center that features some of the most prestigious dog and cat shows in the country as well as special dog-friendly events open to all dogs and their owners. We are driven by the desire to help pets and people reach their full potential together – the potential to love, thrive, perform, succeed and to make a positive difference. We know together we are better. Purina Farms is the common ground for every pet and person.

Dogs are welcome across the property as long as they abide by our visiting pet guidelines and they avoid the few areas that are noted as off-limits.  The areas include the animal barn, pet training & enrichment center and the Purina Event Center unless the event taking place inside the center is designated as dog-friendly for the general public. If the event is a sanctioned show or trial at the Purina Event Center, then only the dogs and cats entered in the show or trial may be in the facility.
