Description:  This free educational event will help you to learn about the signs and symptoms of opioid addiction, how to respond if a loved one is addicted and how to be part of stopping this epidemic. Representatives from the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (NCADA) and Manchester Police Department will also be on hand to answer your questions.

Why Attend?

1 in 4 teens has already misused/abused a prescription drug and more than 90 Americans die every day after overdosing on opioids. Most addicts and their families never thought they would find themselves addicted. Addiction to prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious local and national crisis that affects the health of kids and adults as well as everyone’s social and economic welfare.
