Progressive Emporium & Education Center, a cultural center with a retail bookstore component, is a tourist site which provides cultural gifts, african artifacts, african clothing, DVDs, afrikan cloth, out of print black books, custom tailored art work, etc., It is also a site that offers cultural education activities & classes, skill-building workshops, health/wellness workshops and classes, cultural celebrations, author book signings, cultural displays and literacy based activities for children and families. Progressive is a cooperative effort managed by Sudan Illustrators, Inc. and TEACH Society.
