Bears Youth Basketball Camp Session #2

One-week day camp for boys, grades 3rd-10th of all skill levels.

Bears Youth Basketball Camp is grouped by gender, age, and skill level. All activities will be conducted inside the beautiful air-conditioned facilities of the Washington University in St. Louis Athletic Complex and the new Sumers Recreation Center.

Members of the Washington University Basketball staff will provide fundamental teaching while college players and high school coaches will serve as camp counselors. To assure the best possible teaching environment, only a limited number of participants are accepted.

Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. On Friday, the campers will be dismissed at Noon, following the Awards Ceremony starting at 11 a.m. The morning session will run from 9 a.m. to Noon, with an hour lunch from Noon to 1 p.m., followed by the afternoon session from 1-4:30 p.m. A more detailed itinerary will be available shortly before camp. About WashU Basketball

The Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball team has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success at the NCAA Division III level. The Bears won the 2008 and 2009 national championships, and have made three Final Four appearances.

Men's basketball coach Pat Juckem is the Coordinator of the WashU Boys Basketball Camp.

Juckem was named the 24th men's basketball coach in program history on May 1, 2018. He led the Bears to a 17-8 record in his first season on the Danforth Campus and a second place finish in the University Athletic Association (UAA).
