Beginning Painting with Watercolor
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 02/04/2022
We will look at a variety of watercolor artists, practice moving the paint around so we can see how it reacts with the water, and explore the difference between wet on wet and wet on dry techniques. We'll try splatter and drip techniques and see what happens when we add salt to our watercolors and use white pastels to create watercolor resist paintings.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
4 weeks | Fridays |4:00pm - 5:30pm |January 14 - February 4, 2022|
Students will learn the basics of watercolor painting. Bring ideas for what kinds of things you would be interested in painting--animals, flowers, outer space--we'll go anywhere our imaginations take us.
