Camp KangaZoo | Kids Out and About St. Louis

Camp KangaZoo

Check out Camp KangaZoo at the Saint Louis Zoo, where campers learn all about Zoo animals! Sessions are Monday - Thursday plus a Zoo overnight Thursday night. Before and After Care are available.

Looking for a one-of-a-kind summer program for your kids? Check out Camp KangaZoo at the Saint Louis Zoo, where campers learn all about Zoo animals! Campers have the opportunity to see and touch live animals, attend a Sea Lion Show, hop aboard the Zooline Railroad, tiptoe around the Zoo at night and sleep overnight at the Zoo. Camp KangaZoo T-shirt, group photo, snacks, Thursday pizza dinner and Friday morning breakfast included.

Camp KangaZoo is tailored for children in first to sixth grade. Have younger or older children? We also have Camp Joey for the little ones, Teen Camp and Specialty Camps.

Once again Camp KangaZoo campers can double their Camp fun.  Choose Animals in Action or Battle of the Biomes or best of all, register for BOTH!  Both Camps include the same amount of animal contact, tours, and Zoo experiences.

Camp KangaZoo - Animals in Action

Campers will explore the fascinating world of animal behavior.  In depth observations will reveal what animals do, how they move in their Zoo habitat, how they get along with the other animals, and how they learn.  Active games, creative crafts, fun science activities and awesome Zoo animals will help uncover the mysteries of animals in action.

Camp KangaZoo - Battle of the Biomes

Campers will compare similar animals and habitats in different parts of the world.  How are vultures in the Ozark Mountains like the condors in the Andes Mountains?  Are all rainforests and rainforest animals the same? What animals are keystone species?  Campers will find the answers through active Camp games, activities, crafts, and our amazing Zoo animals!
