Civil War Interpretive Event

At the Civil War camp visitors can learn about the life of a Civil War soldier as well as how the Civil War affected Ste. Genevieve County. Observe Civil War camp life and demonstrations of marching, musket fire, and cannon fire. Learn about Ste. Genevieve citizens who fought in the war, some on each side. At 1:00 gather in front of the courthouse on 3rd Street to observe a re-enactment of Federal troops taking possession of the Ste. Genevieve Courthouse.
