Faust Park | Kids Out and About St. Louis

Faust Park

The park was created in 1968 through the donation of property by Leicester and Mary Faust. This was done with the intention to forever preserve the original estate, Thornhill, the home of Frederick Bates, Missouri’s second Governor. Along with Thornhill the park also features a historic village, a carousel, the butterfly house and Webster School of Music. The park also features a large playground, modern restroom facility, 2 picnic sites, a trail, an amphitheater and a covered picnic shelter.
