Free Family Day / Art at a Boiling Point!
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 10/13/2019
Science—it’s like magic, but real! Every day seems magical when you go through life like you’re "standing on the shoulders of giants." Discover how science is used in art processes that have always made you wonder. Work alongside Laumeier's Community Artist In Residence Tiffany Sutton, through an interactive installation and learn how a camera obscura functions in a way similar to that of our eye.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Join Laumeier’s Community Artist In Residence, photographer Tiffany Sutton, for an interactive experience that merges science and art through photography, sculpture and graffiti—in a form like you've never seen before...moss! We will make sunprints and a fun sculpture project inspired by mythical creatures. We will work both inside the studio and outside in the Park, so dress for the weather.
