Native Plants: Missouri Spring Wildflower Walk at Glassberg
*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 04/21/2021
Spring ephemerals consist of several species of wildflowers that only come up for a short period during the spring. Come join me on a hike at Myron and Sonya Glassberg Family Conservation Area in Jefferson County as we enjoy a beautiful spring hike looking not only for these spring ephemerals but also birds and other wildlife. Trail is a fairly easy 3 mile loop on natural terrain, so please wear appropriate shoes for mud and/or water.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
We may not walk the entire 3 miles. Spaces will be limited, and social distancing will be practiced, please bring a mask. Please register each individual separately.
Myron and Sonya Glassberg Family Conservation Area is in Jefferson County off of HWY FF. It is just west of Young Conservation Area by roughly a mile. Parking lot is on the right hand side of HWY FF. We will meet in the parking lot. I will send directions the night before to make sure everyone has instructions.
