Join TreeHouse for International Vulture Awareness Day Sept. 4th from 1pm-4pm. We will have special guests: Ivan Vining and Kayla Alexander. Ivan, though a biostatistician by trade, volunteers with a different rehabilitation organization, Raptor Rehabilitation Project in Columbia, Missouri. He spends hours viewing and reading about vultures and loves to share is experiences with others. IDNR's Site Interpreter Kayla works at Pere Marquette State Park and is passionate about environmental education and restoration. Join staff, volunteers, and our special guests as we explore the importance of vultures in our ecosystem and what happens when vultures disappear from our ecosystems. There will be plenty of activities to enjoy and vultures to meet!
