Twilight Tours at the Campbell House: Presented by the Mourning Society of St. Louis

Back by popular demand, Halloween Twilight Tours with the Mourning
Society of St. Louis!
Experience the magnificent period rooms of the Campbell House dimmed
to gaslight brightness and draped for mourning. Guests get the unique
opportunity see the Campbell House at night and learn about Victorian
mourning customs. Mourning Society members will even be in
appropriate mourning dress. Witness Robert Campbell’s 1879 wake and
funeral in the parlor; hear about the process of preparing the
deceased for burial; see Victorian mourning dress and etiquette and
learn about the 19th Century cemeteries of St. Louis.
