Week-Long Traditional Camp | Kids Out and About St. Louis

Week-Long Traditional Camp

Send your girl on an adventure she will remember for the rest of her life! From zipping through the trees to canoeing on the lake, girls grow more comfortable and confident in an outdoor setting each day. Our Resident Camps are safe, hands-on and rich with Girl Scout tradition.

During their Resident Camp experience, campers unleash their inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) as they explore a wide range of activities.

Morning sessions follow breakfast and include activities dependent on a camper’s age, like taking aim at the archery range, paddling on the lake in a canoe or learning about local flora and fauna on a hike. Girls make individualized decisions on what activities they want to do, with some choices designed specifically for older girls, during option and free-choice periods.

Girls enjoy lunch and rest time before setting off on afternoon adventures, which include playing GaGa ball or a camper favorite—tie-dyeing! Campers swim daily and have access to the popular Snack Shack and Trading Post.

Campers spend the evenings bonding at all-camp activities before drifting off to sleep.
