Yanda Log Cabin Day

This free family fun event will have interactive demonstrations with period craftsman. Blacksmith, Mike Lanham will demonstrate forging. Mike was born and raised in Alton and learned blacksmithing while attending SIUE. He is know for demonstrations at Rendezvous and Schools. You can also learn about woodworking, sewing, corn grinding, and enjoying old time music by Nancy Lippincott and Charles Pool. There will be a food both and Glen Carbon t-shirts for sale.
