CKDC hosts an All Day Summer Camp from 9:00am - 5:00pm with extended care opportunities. The camp makes dance and arts accessible by offering scholarships to many of the youth that attend. Camp is a chance for children to have a safe, fun, and engaging arts experience over the summer. The campers take dance and art classes, socialize, and have the option to perform. The four weeks of camp are themed: cultural dance week, week of the classical styles, contemporary and modern week, and hip hop week. CKDC teaches the students life skills and professional development. Students not only expand their technical skillset, but also learn about the history and culture of dance. Camp curriculum is enriched through art activities and excursions into St. Louis.
