Non-profit organization whose mission is preserving and protecting Mexican gray wolves, red wolves and other wild canid species, with purpose and passion, through carefully managed breeding, reintroduction and inspiring education programs.

The Endangered Wolf Center (EWC) preserves and protects some of the most threatened species of wolves in the world and a big part of our mission is education! Introducing children to the wonders of wildlife and the places they call home is one of our great joys. From Scout Programs to Summer Camps, birthday parties to graduation celebrations, we're inspiring the next generation of conservationists. Join us!

On tours, visitors can see up to eight species of canids that live at the EWC: Mexican wolves, red wolves, maned wolves, African painted dogs, swift foxes, fennec foxes, an Arctic fox, and a red fox.

Located in Eureka, Mo., along Interstate 44 about 20 miles southwest of St. Louis, the EWC hosts a variety of events, including evening wolf howls, when visitors can howl at the wolves and are likely to hear wolves howling at them.

Reservations are required and are easily made by calling 636-938-5900. Information and a complete calendar of events is available on our website at www.endangeredwolfcenter.org. The EWC offers daytime Endangered Species Tours, Private tours, and a variety of Specialty Tours catered to your interests.

The Endangered Wolf Center is a non-profit 501c(3) and receives no state or federal funding. It relies solely on revenue generated by memberships, donations, sponsorships, tours, events and gift shop sales.
