Coding Camp by The Coder School®
At The Coder School®, we have a project-based game development curriculum. We immerse kids in coding by building stuff and then building more stuff! “Fun with Scratch!” is our entry-level program for the novice and younger coder. Scratch is a visual programming language used to create games, tell stories and make graphics. Kids bring out their inherent creativity and learn logic by combining elements of video, music, pictures and artwork to make interactive games. It is fun to watch the ‘a ha’ moments as they learn the basic syntax of a command, ‘if then’ statements and loops such as the ‘forever’ loop and how this ‘magical’ command will have the object of their interest in thrall forever! Laptops provided. Make it a full-day camp by adding another Lodge half-day camp and Lunch Bunch registration. Due to additional camp forms required for your child’s safety, registration will only be taken online at www.TheLodgeDesPeres.com. Registration deadline is 6/9. Minimum 6/Maximum 15

CAMP REFUND POLICY
Registrant must withdraw from camp by the advertised registration deadline listed in the camp description in order to receive a full refund.** Any camp withdrawals after the advertised registration deadline are charged a 75% cancellation fee. **There is a $5 processing fee for refund requests. If the registrant leaves the refund credit on his/her Lodge account, that fee is waived.**
