And Ada Twist's curiosity can lead her to solve any problem. A fun musical based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer; Iggy Peck, Architect; and Ada Twist Scientist by Andrea Beaty, which spotlights the STEM curriculum (focusing on science, technology, engineering and math).

Pumpkin Throw Down

Sunday, November 1 from 12pm–3pm. Get out your gourds — Halloween is over, and it’s time to throw out those old pumpkins! Pumpkin spice? Too basic. Pumpkin pie? Delicious, but no. Pumpkin chuckin? That’s right, this City Museum fall tradition is back! Gather up all of your pumpkins, gourds, squash, and any other vegetables you’ve carved a face onto… and throw them off the side of our building!

2026 Halloween Parade

Friday, October 31. For more than a century, the Edwardsville Halloween Parade has wound its way through downtown on Halloween night. This annual event is hosted and organized by the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce and features scores of creative, unique floats and other parade entries, along with tons of candy.

Trolley Trick-or-Treat!

Saturday, October 31, 2026. Hop aboard the Loop Trolley and make your way through the Delmar Loop for an evening of Halloween fun. Both Trolleys will be running while participating businesses along The Loop welcome families for trick-or-treating from 4–8 PM.
