TAPS: A Musical Salute - at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site invites you to join us virtually for a Veterans Day Salute to all American Veterans past and present on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 starting at 5:30 and ending at sunset. The Presidential Site is organizing a live virtual event, to be broadcast from the porch of the 23rd President, Benjamin Harrison. At sunset, a lone bugler from the Indiana National Guard will sound Taps to honor all veterans who have passed. We will broadcast the event from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site on Facebook Live. We hope the bugle call inspires everyone who hears it to pause and reflect on the dedication and important service of our veterans, and how their efforts have helped preserve the American system of self-government we enjoy today. Please join us in this honoring of veterans past and present—and if you are a veteran, please know how grateful we are for your service!

St. Louis Regional Veterans Day Parade & Family Festival

Saturday, November 7, 2026. Get ready for a red, white, and wow-worthy morning in downtown St. Louis! The St. Louis Regional Veterans Day Parade and Family Festival brings together family fun, patriotic pageantry, and a heartfelt salute to our nation’s veterans—just in time to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. From 9am to 1pm, the area around Soldiers Memorial transforms into a free family celebration filled with hands-on activities, memorable photo ops, and plenty of patriotic flair for kids and grown-ups alike. At 10:30am, the excitement marches right past the festival as the Veterans Day Parade rolls by Soldiers Memorial—so bring your cheers, wave those flags, and claim your spot along the route.

Tons of Trucks

Do you or your child have a LOVE for large vehicles? Come join us at BMAC on Saturday, November 7th for our Fourth Annual “Tons of Trucks” event to explore trucks, tractors, construction and first responder vehicles up close. Attendees will get the joy of exploring, climbing, sitting in the driver’s seat and talking with the operators of these exciting machines from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. A couple food trucks, Kona Ice snow cone, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, the Library Mobile and the Bubble Bus will also be onsite for your entertainment. This event is FREE and open to the public.
