St. Charles Veterans Memorial in the Lewis and Clark Boathouse Parking Lot

The St. Louis African Arts Festival is held in beautiful Forest Park. Each year the festival attracts a diverse audience of thousands of local residents and out-of-town visitors during the Memorial Day weekend. The Festival draws the community together in celebration of the rich contributions of Africa and the African Diaspora (diaspora–people settled far from their ancestral homelands). The annual event enjoys partnerships with major local cultural institutions as the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Saint Louis Zoo, the Missouri History Museum, the St. Louis Public Library, the Muny, and Washington University in St. Louis.

Join us for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25th, to honor the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial Walk beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Veterans Memorial Walk is located at 800 Belleau Creek Rd., O'Fallon, MO 63366. This ceremony will also include the unveiling of our newest Path of Heroes signs to be displayed throughout the O'Fallon community.

Celebrate the start of summer with Allies of Marquette Park and Dutchtown Main Streets! The pool at Marquette Park is the largest outdoor public pool on the South Side, and it’s free for City residents! Join us at the Marquette Park Pool for the first day of swimming season, where we’ll have free food, drinks, and music all afternoon. Sponsored by the Dutchtown Opportunity Coalition for Youth, Employment Connection, and the Dutchtown Community Improvement District.

The St. Paul Parish Picnic is a beloved annual community event hosted by St. Paul Catholic Church, bringing together parish members and local residents for a weekend of fun, food, and fellowship. Held in May, the picnic features a variety of family-friendly activities including carnival rides, games, live entertainment, and food booths. Highlights include a community parade, bingo, face painting, and a traditional chicken dinner. With opportunities for socializing, volunteering, and celebrating faith, the event creates a welcoming atmosphere for all ages and continues to be a cherished tradition in the Fenton community.
