STEM, History, Science, and Technology Camps for St Louis
Camps that make you THINK!
The Saint Louis and Saint Charles area is dedicated to educational experiences for our kids that are also FUN! The following are camps that have elected to be featured on this page, and below it are additional camps of which we at KidsOutAndAbout.com are aware.
If there is a history, science, or technology camp that we have missed, please email us to let us know, and we'll add it promptly. Thank you!
Mad Science of St. Louis
Mad Science camps offer a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, games and activities, and hands-on applications of scientific principles. Children touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about. We use simple, real world science activities that allow even the youngest of campers to enjoy science. Campers create, build and assemble a variety of take-home projects while exploring how science affects the world around us. We explore an array of topics including chemistry, robotics, rocketry, forensics and more! Children have so much fun, they forget they're learning! (Camps available for children ages 4 to 12.)
Camp Invention
Energize your kid’s creativity and confidence with our new Camp Invention® program, Recharge! Campers in grades K-6 will collaborate with friends in hands-on, open-ended STEM challenges. They’ll take apart a microphone to explore its inner workings, build and test a device to launch rubber ducks, and design morphing vehicles for the Super Road Rally! Each activity is designed to inspire curiosity, spark imaginations and give your young innovator the best summer ever. This year, our local camps are being offered in person and at home so your child can experience the fun of Camp Invention no matter where they are! Visit invent.org/local to secure your spot and save!
The Magic House
