The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, Missouri Botanical Garden and Shaw Nature Reserve are temporarily closed effective 5 p.m. on March 16, 2020.
We have temporarily closed all Garden-owned locations until April 3 to support the regional effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. The safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority, and we will continue to monitor developments and reassess accordingly.
All events and programs remain suspended through May 1, and we may extend this timeframe if necessary.

Bring the family together for a unique brunch experience at the Butterfly House! We’re partnering with Seed Sprout Spoon to create a truly brunchtastic event. Enjoy a delicious meal on our Lakeside Terrace, followed by a stroll in the garden and a trip to the conservatory to visit our beautiful butterflies. Brunch buffet, coffee, and juice provided with ticket price. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. To ensure your family is seated together, please register your entire group at one time. We cannot accommodate groups larger than 10.
