2022 Summer Camp at The Ethical Society Nursery School
8:45am until 11:45 am --- NEW HOURS!
Extended Day program goes from 11:45 am to 2:15 pm on Wednesday and Thursday for 5 Day program students. Bring a lunch to stay and play. $25 per day or $40 for both days/week.
June 6-10
Colors and Shapes
Dive into a week of learning about colors and shapes. What colors and shapes can we find on a nature walk? Is neon a color? Explore different art mediums. Build and sort with large and small shapes. Do yoga in the “rainbow room.” Colors and shapes are incorporated into our crafts, books and music.

Solar System
It’s out of this world! Fly to the moon with ESNS as we learn about our solar system. Which is the biggest planet? Why is Mars the red planet? What is a star? How does the moon change shape? Learn about the moon, earth and galaxy and how humans explore them.

Transportation
Planes, trains, automobiles and boats. This week, we explore mechanical movement. Let’s figure out what makes machines move. How are vehicles helpful to humans? Let’s talk tractors, barges, rockets and more.

Zoo
Lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Zoo animals abound. Modern zoos try to mimic original environments. Let’s talk about that. What do zoo animals need to thrive? Why can we get close to some animals and not others? Let’s sort and identify. This week includes crafts, music, movement and roaring good fun!

Community Helpers
Who helps our community? Nurses, garbage truck operators, firefighters, police, postal carriers and more. Let’s talk about job training, responsibility and uniforms. We count on our community workers in so many ways.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
Join us at the top of the coconut tree! We focus on numbers and letters this week. How many versions of the ABC’s can we sing? It’s easy as 1-2-3. Learn through songs, crafts, games and books. (Watch for the YMCA video release.)
