Free Bat Survey Presentation

Join the City of Crestwood and Vona Kuczynska to learn how wildlife biologist survey bats using mist nets on Friday, May 11th at 7:30pm down by the Quarry in Whitecliff Park. If bats are captured, participants will get the opportunity to see how bats are measured and identified. Participants will also learn how bats are tagged and tracked using tiny transmitters. This net survey presentation is FREE and open to the public. Registration is not required. The event could be cancelled due to inclement weather. Participants should bring a headlamp or a flashlight.
