Give Kids A Smile Clinic
Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) provides comprehensive dental services through a two-day dental clinic, held at Saint Louis University, in February and October each year. Every child seen at the GKAS clinic receives an oral examination, radiographs (x-rays), a cleaning with fluoride treatment, education on oral hygiene and more. Fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions and oral surgery are also completed as needed.
Who's Eligible? Children between 12 months and 14 years old, not older than the 8th grade, and have Medicaid or qualify for the free/reduced school lunch program are eligible for Give Kids A Smile.
Appointments can be made for the clinic by a child’s parent/guardian/caregiver or through groups coordinated by schools, churches/synagogues and community groups. Call the GKAS office to make your appointment(s).
