Honeysuckle Hack | Kids Out and About St. Louis

Honeysuckle Hack

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/01/2025
Nature lovers ages 12 & up are invited to participate in the Honeysuckle Hack on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Schroeder Park and Stoecker Park. Bush honeysuckle, an invasive species, has been taking over Missouri woodlands and choking out native plants. This event offers a chance for community members to help remove this invasive plant and restore the beauty of our parks. Park staff will provide gloves, tools, and guidance to ensure volunteers of all experience levels can contribute. Donuts and drinks will be available to kick off the cleanup.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
