Discover the newly opened Mary Cassatt: An American in Paris, a special installation celebrating this pioneering American impressionist on the 100th anniversary of her death. Several of Cassatt’s beloved paintings are featured alongside groundbreaking prints and drawings that are rarely on view. Enjoy an overview presented by Rena M. Hoisington, curator and head, department of old master prints; Kimberly A. Jones, curator of 19th-century French paintings; and Mary Morton, curator and head, department of French paintings, followed by a conversation moderated by Sarah Cash, associate curator and acting head of American and British paintings. This event is offered both in-person and virtually.
