THE BACKYARD ARTIST COLLECTIVE
What: A week-long journey discovering the nature around us, creating visual and performance art, while building community and learning about each other and about ourselves.
Who:Kids who are between ages of 4-12 and are interested in creating new art and discovering the natural world around you

Our Values: Humans thrive from connection with our natural world and with one another. Art is healing, fun, and for everyone. Children deserve respect and should be treated with dignity. We believe children should be free and have autonomy over their creativity while practicing agency over their body. We are committed to anti-racism, children’s rights, trauma-informed somatics, gender equality, and the power of play.
