There are many skills we can practice to help us learn how to read. Just like you need to know a little about food and spices to learn how to cook or the concept of vehicles and travel to learn how to drive.
In Play School, Simple Positive Play will provide playful resources like blocks, costumes, toys and games for children ages 0-5 years old. Caregivers are invited to explore the different activities at their child’s speed. After stories, we provide some ideas and activities to help parents connect play with learning at home.
When we invite you to “Play School,” or to play “school,” we are inviting you to use your imagination and support positive curiosity. The general outline of the program is listed below.
9:30-10:15- Open Play
10:15-10:30 Story (snack)/Activity Demonstration
10:45-11:00 -Transition to Close
