Spring Break Programs at The Green Center

PROGRAM SCHEDULE (Register by Friday, March 12. Space is limited so sign up soon!)
Indoor/Outdoor programs. Students should dress appropriately for the weather.
Students do need to bring a lunch each day.
Grades: 2, 3, 4 & 5
Time: *9:00am - 3:00pm
*Before & After Care is available at 8:30am and until 3:30pm each day upon request for an additional $5 fee per session.
Cost: $25 per session (includes all materials)
Session 1- Monday, March 22: Art & Nature
Be an artist! Students will learn about and explore Missouri’s outdoor native habitats and create art projects utilizing materials they find outdoors.
Session 2-Tuesday, March 23: Get Outdoors
Discover new ways to play OUTside! Investigate the signs of spring using tools that you can use in any local nature area Join in the fun in becoming a
Jr. Naturalist!
Session 3- Wednesday, March 24: Green Chef
It is planting time! Students will learn about spring plants to grow in a garden, create their own mini garden & how to use what they grow to make delicious dishes!
Session 4- Thursday, March 25: Art & Nature II
(NEW projects!) Be an artist! Students will learn about and explore Missouri’s outdoor native habitats and create art projects utilizing materials they find outdoors
Session 5- Friday, March 26: Get Outdoors II
(NEW adventures!) Discover new ways to play OUTside! Investigate the signs of spring using tools that you can use in any local nature area Join in the fun in becoming a Jr. Naturalist!
