STEM Summer Classes Offered at Leftovers, etc.

For Grades 4 through 8 - Your child will have teh opportunity to participate in an engaging, hands-on educational experience that will require them to utilize their imagination to create multi-level boats, marble roller coasters, catapults, and structures that are resistant to "natural disasters". These projects will challenge your child while also helping him or her build their self-confidence. The course allows them to explore the topics of physical and Earth science by learning about buoyancy, potential/kinetic energy, siple machines, the water cycle, and architectural design safety.
Class is conducted by a fully certified, full-time Science teacher from Fenton, MO. He has worked with students of vairous ages and ability levels and has earned credentials from NASA's "GLOBE" program, the Missouri Minerals Education Foundation, the National Great Rivers Research and Education program, the Civil Air Patrol, Finn Laboratory Safety Training program and several others.
