They're Back! Your Favorite Attractions are Reopening for the 2016 Season!

Several of your favorite St. Louis area attractions are seasonal, and it's a long, cold winter without them!  But we've got you covered on when they are all set to return to business - just click the links to get all the details!

 

 

March 8:  Miniature Train Opens for the Season at The Museum of Transportation  Train operates on the hour and :20 and :40 minutes past. $5 per person - unlimited rides (museum admission required).

 

March 16:  Visitor's Center Opening Day at Purina Farms  Admission to the Visitor's Center is always free; Parking is free on most days,with the exception of some special events. Reservations encouraged - call 314-982-3232 or 888-688-PETS (7387). Purina Farms is open from mid-March through mid-November.

 

March 19Opening Day at Critter Lane Petting Zoo!  Opening day at Critter Lane Petting Zoo is March 19. Get out of the house and have some fun with us in 2016! Open 10;00am - 6:00pm; Admission $5.50/person; Children 2 and Under FREE.

  

March 25-27:  Six Flags Opening Weekend  Be the first to experience the Coaster Capital of Missouri as we kick off another exciting season on March 25, 2016! Grab a seat on The Boss if you dare, spin the weekend away on Pandemonium, and soar to new heights on SUPERMAN Tower of Power. There is even something for the little ones in Bugs Bunny National Park.


March 26-27Opening Weekend at Big Joel's Safari   Big Joel's Safari will reopen for its 2016 season Easter Weekend! See the improvements we've made and new exhibits for the season, and be there for our annual Easter Egg hunt Saturday, March 26! See you this Spring!

 

April 2:  Go Ape! Zip Line & Treetop Adventure Seasonal Re-Opening!  Set within beautiful Upper Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights, the course includes the first skateboard zip line in the Midwest! The entrance is off Dorsett Road near the intersection of Dorsett Road and Marine Avenue. April 2-3:  Brookings Exploration Center Grand Opening/Meet Me Outdoors in St. Louis Festival  In addition to the seasonal reopenings of the Children’s Garden, Tower Grove House, Café Flora and tram rides, the recently renovated Brookings Exploration Center will debut, as well as the new PlantLab, a greenhouse-like space for hands-on plant science and stewardship.

 

April 2-3: Children's Garden Opening Weekend at Missouri Botanical Garden  Spring into action with two fun-filled days of discovery, exploration, and adventures at the Children's Garden Seasonal Reopening! Enjoy live music, visit with some feathered friends, meet Finn, the Children's Garden friendly frog Mascot and more!

 

April 11St. Louis Cardinals Home Opener at Busch Stadium. Join over 40,000 members of Cardinal Nation to welcome baseball back to St. Louis! Don't miss the home opener- St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers. All fans, ages 21 and older entering with a ticket get a 2016 Cardinals Magnet Schedule.

  

April 15:  Stingrays at Caribbean Cove at Saint Louis Zoo   Watch, touch and occasionally feed the unique and fascinating stingrays, as they glide through a warm saltwater pool, also featuring sharks! Exhibit located near Lakeside Cafe. Open April 15-October 2!

 

April 16-17:  Grant's Farm Re-Opens for the Season  Help Grant's Farm celebrate the start of its 62nd season as it reopens the weekend of April 16-17! Saturdays and Sundays only Apr 16-24; Summer hours begin Apr 26 - Aug 28th, Tuesdays through Sundays (closed Mondays, except Memorial Day & 4th of July).

 

May 28-30Raging Rivers Opening Weekend Join us for opening weekend of the 2016 season! We'll be open 10:30am - 6pm every day during the Memorial Day weekend. It's cool when it's hot!

 

 May 27-30Splash City Opens for the Season Splash City opens May 27th for the 2016 season! The waterpark is open 11am-7pm, every day until August 12th, after which the park is open every weekend 11am-7pm until closing day on September 5th.
