Turkey Trot STL | Kids Out and About St. Louis

Turkey Trot STL

Thanksgiving Day is the most popular race day in America. It’s the perfect day to come together to benefit ourselves, our families, and our communities. Start a new Thanksgiving tradition by running or walking in your local, family-friendly Turkey Trot STL 5K. An active morning will help balance the afternoon’s calorie intake and your participation will benefit those less fortunate by supporting local food pantries and St. Patrick Center, a supporter of the homeless.

The Turkey Trot STL 5K course in Downtown St. Louis runs along the route of the 2nd largest Thanksgiving parade in the nation.  Participants will pass many landmarks, including City Garden, Busch Stadium, and the Peabody Opera House and finishes at the end of the parade route.  An out-and-back section will allow participants to see and cheer on their fellow athletes.

To encourage the entire family on Thanksgiving morning to participate, the event is stroller friendly and children 12 years and under can register for the 1/2 Mile Youth Race for FREE!

After the run, stay for a free pancake breakfast by Chris’ Cakes, and enjoy a prime viewing location for the parade.
