Families with children of all ages are invited to stop by Rossman School in Creve Coeur for a magical morning of free festive activities and a wintery science showcase by Mad Science St. Louis.

From 9 to 11:30 a.m.:

  • sing and dance with Mr. Saxophone
  • make your own snow
  • experiment with electricity and holiday lights
  • enjoy Frosty’s Funland
  • create a Grandma Moses-inspired snow scene
  • whip up your own frosting for a scrumptious holiday cookie
  • design a scratch art snowman
  • and more!

At 9:45 a.m.:

  • Stop by the Performing Arts Center for a magical science showcase by Mad Science! Travel through a snowy world of science and learn about air pressure, the power of chemicals, physical and chemical changes, the color spectrum, and the properties of dry ice. Watch the Mad Scientist use chemistry to melt a snowman. Find out how air pressure can help out a super special egg. And experience the shivering cold fog of dry ice.
