For 34 years the owners, Dr. Tim and Anne Jordan who are experts on raising girls, have been providing camp experiences offering safe, fun communities for girls. One week summer camps and overnight weekend retreats near STL are available.
We teach leadership, communication, and self-awareness in a traditional camp setting. Our activities include, swimming, hiking, sports, camp fires, creative arts, team building games, and so much more! We have a 2.5-to-1 ratio of campers to counselors. Our lodging facilities have indoor bathrooms with plumbing and air conditioned cabins.

Foundry Art Camp offers children ages 6 to 16 a chance to immerse themselves in creative activities that foster collaboration, enhance artistic abilities, and highlight the powerful role art plays in the world.
Campers will dive into art by exploring the Foundry’s exhibitions, learning about art history, and engaging in discussions with the Foundry’s studio artists. From painting and sculpture to tie-dye and clay work, they’ll create unique pieces to take home and share with loved ones. This hands-on experience across various artistic mediums will inspire and nurture their creative potential.

At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life. Our Rend Lake camp is a non-religions program that serves campers 2nd to 9th-grade. Kids gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn about cooperation and problem-solving, all while making new, lifelong friends. We offer a small community for campers so that they feel like they are part of the Manitowa family. By offering structured free choice activities, we encourage kids to feel a sense of belonging and control over their experience, which leaves them feeling empowered and able to learn and grow.
