Description: This camp is for the little scientists! Each day will cover topics such as earth sciences, weather prediction, ecology and pollution, and the forces of nature. Through a wide variety of hands on activities and excursions to Lockwood Park’s restored prairie, kids will learn all about tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and floods – as well as touching on climate change and how we can help! Ages 7+
Instructor: This camp will be led by Patrick Hurley, a high-energy and hilarious fifth grade teacher from the Francis Howell School District. Patrick has experience teaching grades K-5, as well as special education, music, and theater.
