The Gentle Barn

The Gentle Barn is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that is open to the public on Sundays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. We welcome anyone of any age to visit us so you can rub pigs' bellies, feed donkeys, play ball with goats, cuddle with turkeys, and meet the St. Louis Six Cows, who in 2017 escaped from slaughter and ran the streets of St. Louis in search of their new, safe, forever home. We look forward to sharing with you how these animals heal and change lives by working with children and adults who have suffered physical and/or mental traumas and challenges similar to their own.
