Juneteenth at the Garden

Join the Garden for Juneteenth activities in observance of the federal holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States, first recognized by the state of Texas. It is also known as “Freedom Day,” “Juneteenth National Independence Day,” or “Emancipation Day.”

Activities will include:
- Ethiopian Book Binding presentation by Susie Cobbledick, Garden Library Conservatory
- Pot-A-Plant activities and George Washington Carver Garden tour facilitated by one of our Master Gardeners
- A variety of vendors showcasing their work and products
Regular Garden admission applies. St. Louis City and County residents receive free admission before noon (proof of residency required).
