The Association is committed to the preservation of the Lucy Haskell playhouse located in Haskell park in Alton, IL. The Haskell Playhouse was built for Lucy Jane Haskell by her parents, Dr. William A. and Florence Hayner Haskell in 1884. The playhouse consisted of a single room measuring fourteen by sixteen feet. Visitors are welcome to view the 1885 playhouse during scheduled open houses and events.
