Mother's Day Tea

Throughout history, tea parties have been a way for people to spend quality time together with family members and friends. And quality time is the best gift you can give someone – especially your mother! Come join us in the interpretive center at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site for a tea party to celebrate a mother in your life. (If you are a mother, be sure to send this to your children as a not-so-subtle hint.) Interpreter Emily will be serving different types of tea and a light sandwich lunch while covering the history of tea from antiquity to the present.
