The Special Education Parent Coach assists parents of special need children in navigating the special education process through individual coaching, educating and empowering parents.

Imagine being forced to sit down at table and play a game.  Not only  do you not get to choose whether to play the game or not, but no one tells you the rules of the game, strategy of play or even how to win.  Everyone else at the table all know the rules.  They have been playing for years and have a clear strategy for winning.  This is what many special need families experience when they are sitting around a table trying to advocate for their children.  The stakes of the game are too high for you not to learn all you can and leverage that knowledge to advocate effectively to get what your child needs.  Working with The Special Education Parent Coach to not only learn the rules, but to map out a strategy for winning is the best way to lead your child's team to success. The Special Education Parent Coach Jennifer Mazella has been navigating the special education system for over 10 years.  What began as a journey to radically change her own special need child's education experience grew into a desire to help other families navigate the special education process more effectively.  She has had extensive training in counseling, social work, leadership and parenting.  She is a CPC (Certified Professional Coach) and an ELI-MP (Energy Leadership - Master Practicioner).  Her ultimate goal is to change the future for special need children and their families, one parent at a time!  When not coaching, advocating and educating her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, 2 cats and 2 dogs in what she affectionately refers to as The Mazella Madhouse.
