Branch History

Lewis & Clark Branch opened January 8, 1963. It is named for the famous team of explorers, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark because of its proximity to the take-off point for the historic tour of the Louisiana Territory. Three decorated glass windows pay tribute to the explorers and their guide, Sacagawea.
