In February 1974 the Alberici Company donated 93 acres of land to St. Louis County for park purposes. Part of the cash value of this donation was used with a developmental Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to establish Meramec Bend County Park. In the fall of 1975, at the request of Alberici, the name of the park was changed to Edmund F. Unger Memorial County Park. In 2010, an additional 3.94 acres was leased from the Great Rivers Greenway.
Park Hours: 8 a.m. to one half hour past official sunset,
except when reservations are issued.
