The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) is to inspire and enable youth ages 6 to 18 to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, we help young people discover who they can become.
BGCSTL provides a safe, supportive environment where youth ages 6–18 can learn, grow and thrive. Summer Camp registration is OPEN! Summer camp is for building confidence, friendships and lifelong skills. BGCSTL offers summer day camp to ages 6–18, at six locations in St. Louis and Bethalto, Illinois. Visit the Club nearest you. A nutritious breakfast and lunch is provided daily.
In addition to our Club programs, BGCSTL also operates the St. Louis Internship Program and Mentor St. Louis.
BGCSTL is a proud member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
The Club is open during hours that kids are most likely to need a safe place to go — after school and during summer.
We serve kids in more than 90 zip codes, and our average daily attendance is over 450 youth. 29 board members, 95 full- and part-time staff members, and many volunteers work diligently to create, implement and sustain programming that nurtures the growth and self-esteem of members. Volunteers donate roughly 30,000 hours of their time annually.
