Think like NASA innovators during this program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Challenge. How might space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem on Earth? How might robotic arms help make our world a better place? With the spark of an idea, a design notebook & physical and digital tools, teams will modify NASA technology into Spinoff designs.

Campers will spend their days experiencing and learning the bear-building process (taking home a new plush bear every day!), expressing creativity through crafts and custom tees for their furry friends, and playing games in the Fun Zone arcade. Each day, the campers will experience one of the unique party experiences from Build-A-Bear Adventure including Bear Builder U, the Bakeshop party, the Ultimate Adventure, and the end-of-camp graduation ceremony!

Kids will love learning all about the basics of art and getting their hands dirty with Drawing and Design. Portrait drawing, tessellations, 3D drawing, and parabolic art (look it up) are just some of the projects kids will work on during this week’s theme. There is lots of meaning to unpack from math and patterns in parabolic art, to the origins of portrait drawing and how it has evolved in modern times (hint: selfies).

Tote bags, tie-dye, dream catchers, and braided bracelets…what do these all have in common? They are all made of one common element, fibre! During Fantastic Fibres students will work on fibre-inspired creations while learning about their use in different cultures, for example Kumihimo, the traditional Japanese technique for making braids and cords.

Explore the mythology of ancient cultures and how these myths represent early beliefs about the world. Students will learn ancient myths through read aloud, playing games, and engaging in other activities that help them explore this fascinating world of Gods and Monsters.

Any day that school is out - President's Day, spring break, summer break, etc. - we have camp! Your child will enjoy an enriching, fun environment of gym play fun, STEM activities, sensory projects, arts & crafts, and more! Our camps are inclusive, meaning children with or without special needs are welcome.

Similar to Need for Speed, this week is all about building contraptions, you guessed it, that fly high! Taking Flight will keep kids busy building balloon rockets, dragonfly copters, boomerangs, paper airplanes and simple kites – and tie back into a broader theme of innovators that defy what is “known”. What could be more fun?

Elevate Ultimate focuses on teaching kids the FUNdamentals of Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf through fun small-sided games. No previous experience is necessary to enjoy our programs!
